Today I’m sharing my Top 11 Spring Trends for 2017. Some of these you may have already seen like the embroidered denim. This particular trend does not stop at jeans but goes for denim jackets and shoes as well. Flatforms are another big trend for Spring this year. Not only are they super comfortable (yay!) but are already available in a multitude of options (double yay!). Check it out:

I’m a firm believer of trying new things, especially when it comes to cocktails. I think it’s great that some of my friends have a “house” wine or drink. Something that they in essence, always have on tap at their house and friends get to know. However with a new year starting, I also think it’s good to mix things up a bit! Expand your cocktail horizon. These 5 cocktail recipes only deviate slightly from the norm, adding a new twist to the same old drink recipes we all know.
Island Paradise is one of the pantone colors for 2017 and I love this color for everything from nails to furniture!
Metallic nails are big for the beginning of 2017 and not just the usually gold and silver. Think colorful metallics for 2017!
Copper was a huge trend for the home in 2016 but for 2017 expect to be seeing it on fingertips instead!
The nude nail trend continues into 2017 with just a hint of pink.
Lapis blue is another pantone color for 2017. Add a matte coat to this bold color for a luxe look.

For holiday nail art this year I’m all about the sparkle! Whether it’s full on bling or subtle hints of gold, I’m all over it. The good thing about adding some sparkle to your mani/pedi routine is that it doesn’t need to be difficult. A simple swipe across the top of your tips can have you leaving the nail salon feeling much more festive. Also have you seen the plaid nail trend? Check it out:
Just a bit of bling is perfect for Christmas or New Year’s Eve!

I’m in love with all of these fun Halloween costumes! Many are beach or tropical inspired and most would be very easy to pull off at the last minute. I’m not always the best at planning out my Halloween costumes in advance. (But I wish I was!) So sadly, I end up being one of those people running to the Halloween shop the night of and digging through the left over costumes. This year I’m going to try something a little different and DIY. Just not sure which one yet…
Shrimp – the shorter in stature you are, the cuter this gets!
Pool Float – if you already have the float, this one would be very easy!
Clam Costume – this requires a little more effort but would be perfect for a Mermaid Parade too!
Slice of Citrus – would be cute to pair this with the Tropical Drink Costume above!
Here’s a round up of my favorite top 9 DIY for plants! As we step into Fall I think it’s important that we remember to take care of our plant-babies before Winter hits. Repotting them into a beautiful DIY planter (or seashell!) is one easy way to do just that. Take a look:
