Happy New Year! I hope everyone had an amazing New Year’s Eve!! I’m so excited for 2018 (sorry 2017 but I won’t miss you). This year was the first year that I didn’t make any resolutions. Instead I’m sticking to my basic life principles, work hard, play nice and follow your happiness. So much easier right?! Also giving the blog a mini makeover. Just a few tweaks here and there to freshen things up. Did I mention that I’m also freshening up my wardrobe with some new accessories?? Take a peek below:
This rustic seaside home in Baja, Mexico really caught my eye! I love how natural this home feels, from the walls to the ceiling and everything in between. There are these chunky carved wooden doors that lead outside (something that always makes me swoon!). Also something that you don’t seem to find in the U.S. (but why?!). Take a look:

Glamour Italy has done this Look Book in all the right ways! I’m loving those multi-print coverups and black/white plaid high-waisted bikini. I think the high-waisted bikini can be just as sexy as a skimpy one. (If done correctly) I choose a high-waisted bikini for myself this Summer for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The trick is getting one that’s styled for your body so that it actual accents your curves instead of cutting them off or out of the picture completely. What looks are you loving for Summer?
I’ve been wanting to share this sangria recipe with you for awhile but couldn’t seem to find the time to get these pictures taken! This raspberry Summer sangria recipe is so delicious!! The raspberries act as little tasty pops of deliciousness in your mouth as you sip this sangria. Also I love that this cocktail is completely pink and the perfect sangria to mix up for a night with the girls. Not to mention that because this is a white wine sangria, just like my Grapefruit Sangria Recipe, you don’t have to worry about making it 24 hours in advance. Take a peek at the recipe below.
*I chilled my wine before hand and you can also add ice to this as well

I’m so excited to share this light-filled beach cottage with you that I spotted on Elle Decor! It’s filled with soothing pastel colors and perfectly styled bookcases (which makes me want to rearrange my own!). However my most favorite thing about this home is actually the staircase, shown immediately below. It’s very simply painted but cleverly done to give off that coastal vibe. Take a look!
