I’m loving this beach house! Located in Trancoso, Brazil, this home has burnt cement floors (very cool!), a tree trunk shower, and a volcanic stone pool. Also the shower features the burnt cement as well… in case you were wondering. Take a look:
In love with the pool as well as the plant life!
I spot the perfect reading nook!

Today I’m sharing this Texas beach house with you. It’s located in Galveston, Texas which if you’re not aware, is an island city off the coast of the lone star state. This Texas beach house presents itself with a clean beachy vibe. It’s filled with lots of white, lots of shiplap (swoon!) and loads of natural elements. The owners did an amazing job at renovating and redecorating!! I even love that they used wood tiles in the bathroom. Check it out:
Did you notice the shiplap island?
and that insane shiplap wall?
and of course more shiplap in the bedroom…
LOVE this sitting area!
Notice the floors?
Driftwood mirror? Yes, please!
Lately I’ve been in the mood for less; less stuff, less clutter, just less. Give me more air to breathe, more space and more white. Oh yes! Bring on white everything!! White for a new year and fresh start. Which is probably why I fell in love with this minimalist home in Montauk. Who knew a place like this even existed in Montauk? This beach house has a little something for everyone! Even if you’re not a minimalist, you are bound to fall in love with the bathroom. Don’t miss it! >>
Loving these door handles!!
OBSESSED! This is the shower of my dreams!!

As we approach the New Year I thought a countdown seemed appropriate. So today I’m sharing a countdown of my top 5 favorite tiny houses. If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time, you’ve probably noticed that I have a penchant for these little homes! If you scroll down to #1, you’ll see the tiny house that started my love of tiny houses. Also click any pic to take the full tour of your favorite tiny house!
#4: Tiny Beach House – This one is filled with lots of nautical decor, Wait till you see what the bed posts are made out of!
#1: A Tree House in Brooklyn – This is what started my love of tiny houses. Technically this isn’t a “home” because there’s no bathroom or kitchen but this was the house that alerted me to the tiny trend.
This rustic seaside home in Baja, Mexico really caught my eye! I love how natural this home feels, from the walls to the ceiling and everything in between. There are these chunky carved wooden doors that lead outside (something that always makes me swoon!). Also something that you don’t seem to find in the U.S. (but why?!). Take a look:
In LOVE with this bedroom, so simple yet so beautiful!
I love all the natural elements!
Swooning over the armoir!
Because wine is all you really need to fit on a table, right?

One thing I really love about a good beach house is the simplicity of it. Who needs a lot of “stuff” when you are surrounded by such amazing views?! Take for instance the teeny tiny office in this space (picture 5). It is literally a desk, a chair, a plant, and a laptop squished into something the size of a coat closet, BUT it works! It works because there’s a floor to ceiling window looking out onto the waves that beautifully lets the light in. I could easily do a closet sized office with views like that. Take a peek below at what the rest of this California beach house has to offer:
You can’t be unhappy with a kitchen like this!
It’s all in the details
Teeny tiny office space with a view!
Once again, loving the details!

Once again I’m sharing my love for a tiny house. This one is like a mini beach cottage on wheels!! It stands with only a mere 150 square feet of living space but all 150 square feet are adorable. I spotted this tiny beach house on Tiny House Town. You can actually rent it (click link to see rental details). Which might be a good idea to test drive, if you were seriously considering buying a tiny house. Scroll down to check out this tiny beach house!
There are so many beachy/nautical details like the posts on this bed
