Because what girl doesn’t want to live in a tiny pink cottage on a beach in the Bahamas?! This place is so adorable. I’ve long advocated my love of tiny homes and while I wouldn’t call this “tiny” it does have a small home feel. There’s a coziness here that’s created with a variety of textures (lots of wicker!) and beachy shades of aquas and blues. Scroll down to take the tour!
This porch swing is the best one ever!!

I’m so excited to share this light-filled beach cottage with you that I spotted on Elle Decor! It’s filled with soothing pastel colors and perfectly styled bookcases (which makes me want to rearrange my own!). However my most favorite thing about this home is actually the staircase, shown immediately below. It’s very simply painted but cleverly done to give off that coastal vibe. Take a look!
I’m in love with this desk!
What is it about simplicity and Summer? When you just need a swimsuit, a beach towel and a cool refreshing drink to get by. For some reason it seems we need twice as much stuff for all the other seasons? I’ve never understood it but rather choose to just enjoy the simple things of Summer while they last. This Hawaii beach cottage on the island of Maui is just one of those things. A simple stunner of a beach house that’s been carefully designed from an old carriage house, not to include more than one really needs.
I love the simple decor and openness of this space
At first glance this rustic dinning table seems like nothing more than a shifty old table, but at second glance I noticed the all natural legs and my heart went boom-boom
In love with these pillows!
I love that they put printed wallpaper in between the beams!!
and continued it into the bathroom
This outdoor seating has my heart!
This home doesn’t look like it belongs in Venice Beach but it does! and it has the most amazing outdoor space I’ve ever seen!! Not going to lie, I have a bit of garden envy. Which is why I’ve broken this post up into outdoor and indoor pics. The home itself has strong Moroccan influences (hence the reason I say it doesn’t look like it belongs here). There’s lots of weather wood, a personal favorite, mixed with smooth cement walls. Check it out:
I could float in this pool all day!
I love the tile work in this pool!
Love those rustic cabinets!

I love this beachy home in Charleston that I spotted on Domino. Even though it’s not actually on the beach, this home in South Carolina has a laid back good vibe that’s not to be missed! The owner, Amanda Greeley, brings in a lot of natural elements (which is so my style!) and I love every room of it. There are a lot of rattan and wooden elements from floor to ceiling and did I mention she painted her floors and ceiling a beautiful shade of aqua?! Check it out:
The wall color! Those chairs! That pool picture!!
I’m obsessed with the lighting!
There’s no replacement for a good ol’ claw foot tub!
Today I rounded up my favorite 5 beach houses! They’re located all over the world and in some of the most beautiful and tropical places. These home tours are not to be missed! Check ’em out:
What I loved most about this beach house was the pops of turquoise throughout, the fact that it’s surrounded by palm trees, oh and the gate in the backyard that leads to the beach! Click the pic to take the tour

You can’t tell from the picture but my favorite thing about this beach house is its size! This beach house is teeny tiny, proving that you don’t need much square footage just great views! Click pic to take the tour.

Take a tour of India Hicks’ beach home in the Bahamas! It’s filled with history and antiques and I love it all. From the tropical greenery growing outside to the coastal fish prints inside, this home has captured my heart. Also did I mention they have a pet parrot named Jenga? You’ve got to take a look:
I’ve always thought of libraries as the heart of the home! I love the nautical touch to this one!!
Who wouldn’t want to dive into this bed?!
I’m obsessed with this distressed desk!
