I’m so excited for Halloween weekend! I’ve got my pumpkins painted and treats ready to go. I didn’t have time for a DIY Halloween pumpkin this year but here’s a round up of my favorite coastal pumpkins from around the blog-o’sphere.
It’s Columbus Day but to be honest that guy is the farthest thing on my mind. All I’ve been thinking about is getting ready for Halloween! It’s by far my favorite holiday because it’s always so much fun. This year I wanted to share some DIYs to help you create a perfect mermaid costume! I’m in love with all of these fun Halloween costumes! Many are beach or tropical inspired and most would be very easy to pull off at the last minute. I’m not always the best at planning out my Halloween costumes in advance. (But I wish I was!) So sadly, I end up being one of those people running to the Halloween shop the night of and digging through the left over costumes. This year I’m going to try something a little different and DIY. Just not sure which one yet…
Shrimp – the shorter in stature you are, the cuter this gets!
Pool Float – if you already have the float, this one would be very easy!
Clam Costume – this requires a little more effort but would be perfect for a Mermaid Parade too!
Slice of Citrus – would be cute to pair this with the Tropical Drink Costume above!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! I think that’s because it’s one of the playful holidays. One thing that’s not on my list of favorite things to do is pumpkin carving. As much as I love the outcome, it’s pretty messy and my dog whines the entire time (I’m pretty sure he thinks I’m gorging myself on pumpkin without him!). So here’s my top 10 list for Halloween pumpkins for 2016. Most of these are no carve, technically they all are except there’s one that requires a drill. There are even some coastal pumpkin ideas for my fellow beach lovers!
