Marinated Salmon Taco Recipe

salmon tacos

  • 2 Flour tortillas
  • 1/2 pound of fresh salmon
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 of onion
  • 3 lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 ripened avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
  • lemon juice to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • salt to taste

We start with the marinade by pouring it into a mixing bowl with the lemon juice, water, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and salt.  Place salmon in bowl and let sit for 30 minutes.
While the salmon is marinating cut the onion, bell pepper, tomato, lettuce and avocado into thin strips.

Heat the marinade in a frying pan with a few drops of olive oil.  Grill salmon by placing it skin side down on a medium flame for about 8 minutes.  Continue to marinade as salmon is cooking.  After 8 minutes, flip salmon and cook for another 5 minutes.

Heat tortillas in the grill or microwave and place on a dish.  Add vegetables and jalapeno.  Top everything off with pieces of the salmon and sour cream.
