It’s not Summer yet but the past week has felt like it! I’ve loved all the warm weather days we’ve been having, even the rainy ones. With warmer weather comes the challenge of finding ways to cool off. This past weekend I tried this Blackberry Sage Cooler and not only was it sweet but also low in calories. Check out the recipe below:
Boil 1 cup water and add sugar, wait for sugar to dissolve.
Crush sage leaves with back of spoon and add to syrup, set aside for 15 minutes.
Puree blackberries and strain.
Put a tablespoon of blackberry puree in the bottom of a glass, add a tablespoon of syrup and finish off with 8 ounces of club soda.
