Russian Winter

Russia is a winter wonderland of beautiful things. The entire city of Moscow looks like you’re standing inside a snow globe! One of my favorite things about this country are the Russian Tea Cakes, they’re somewhat hard but at the same time melt instantly in your mouth. Click here for a recipe. As soon as the holidays start, these are the first cookies to come out of my oven. Check out some pictures of this amazing place via Pinterest.

  8. Those palaces are exquisite and those cakes look delicious! This reminds me of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Nutcracker: The Motion Picture (on netflix and clips on youtube) which is set in Russia in the wintertime. The backdrops all have gorgeous scenes of similar architecture.
